After a Wednesday press conference, President Donald Trump was accused of having cognitive decline. It came after a question about whether his administration would restart visa interviews for foreign students.
"When could the administration resume interviews for foreign student visas?" a reporter asked.
"On what?" Trump asked.
"For the foreign student visa. Yesterday was the —" she repeated before he cut her off.
"For the French?" Trump asked.
"Foreign. Foreign," other reporters said, along with the reporter.
"All the foreign students," the reporter repeated.
"Oh, for the foreign visas? What are you referring — foreign visas for what?" Trump asked, confused. "Are you talking about colleges?"

"Ok, you're off of Israel. Now you're talking about colleges, right?" Trump questioned as the reporter affirmed.
"Ok. Well, we're gonna see," Trump said. He then pivoted to attack Harvard University.
It prompted questions and comments from critics about whether Trump's confusion could be part of a larger problem.
"The cognitive," commented Huffington Post White House correspondent S.V. Dáte.
"I'm gonna keep ringing this bell, by which I mean: INCREDIBLY disturbing and f--ked up that the guy *in charge of the government* never seems to *know what the f--k is going on in the government*" said Nina Starner, writer for Looper, a film and television news site.
"His mind is gravy," quipped cultural marketing expert Noah Mallin.
"Who is running the United States of America??" questioned Canadian Galen Naidoo Harris, who does constituency work for a member of parliament.
"This is both embarrassing and horrifying. Biden 2.0," said Tulsa Community College Professor Brad Duren.
Democratic local official Chris D. Jackson referenced CNN's Jake Tapper, who recently co-wrote a book alleging former President Joe Biden suffered from cognitive decline while president.
Political influencer @TheMaineWonk asked where Tapper was as well. It prompted Hall of Fame Boxing analyst for Showtime, Al Bernstein, to sarcastically say, "Yes. He is really on top of things," with a laughing and crying emoji.
"He has no idea what's going on. I am sure we will hear from Jake Tapper any minute now," Bernstein added.
"Hey @jaketapper , do you care to give your cognitive analysis of this?" he asked.
Several others followed that same line of questioning, wondering why Biden continues to face criticism while Trump does not.
