Production on the long-awaited Devil Wears Prada sequel is getting hellish — as a disappointing script threatens to unravel the high-glam sequel before it ever hits the runway, sources say. “When they made the first one, it was lightning in a bottle,” says an insider. “Now? It’s giving high-fashion horror show vibes!”
For the 2006 original, Meryl Streep was the only big name, but Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt are superstars now, and an insider dishes: “Let’s just say, they don’t show up in sensible flats anymore.”
Worse, the script is being called “lukewarm at best,” with one source noting: “The original had heart and hunger. This one feels like a knockoff.” Reps for Anne and Emily deny our story and say they’re having a great time shooting.
