MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace is calling it the "MAGA walk of shame," as major influencers in the "manosphere" are now having buyer's remorse for their big investment in President Donald Trump's second term in office.

Speaking Friday, Wallace called some of the ire among the podcast bros as being the "MAGA morning after."

"Flagrant" podcast host Andrew Schulz lamented this week that Trump is doing everything he voted against.

"There's that saying, don't bite the hands that feed you, and yet that seems like exactly what Donald Trump is doing right now to his old friends in the manosphere," said Wallace.

Schultz, she said, a comedian and podcaster, was a strong Trump backer and likely influenced a lot of his listeners. In the final weeks of the election, Trump went on his and a slew of other podcasts that deal not with politics but talk about sports, comedy or both.

But as Schultz made clear this week, he's not happy with anything.

"I didn't sign up for this," he said on Thursday.

Now, loyal MAGA followers are growing angrier as the Trump administration continues to withhold documents about the Jeffrey Epstein case. Epstein was a wealthy child sex offender who died in prison in 2019.

"We saw MAGA world whipped into a frenzy and a fury this week, feeling as though they'd been deceived, lied to when Trump snapped at a reporter at a cabinet meeting by saying, quote, I can't believe you're asking about Epstein at a time like this. Liz Wheeler, a MAGA influencer, even posted, 'Trump is massively misreading his base on this one. It could cost him the midterms.'"

Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino is considering resigning after clashing with Attorney General Pam Bondi over the documents not being released, CNN reported Friday.

Senior contributing analyst Michele Norris explained that the throughline in all of this is "people feel like they've been hoodwinked. Bamboozled. They were sold a bill of goods. He said he was going to do one thing, but now they see him doing something else."

She also confessed that she's surprised at their surprise because Trump is doing all the things that he said he would do.

"He said that there were going to be mass deportations. He said that there were going to be tariffs," said Norris. "Maybe people didn't read the fine print and understand."
