Estranged former DOGE administrator Elon Musk erupted as President Donald Trump held a cabinet meeting without him.
While Trump was speaking at the Tuesday meeting, Musk ranted to Roger Stone, one of the president's advisers, about accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
"Why would Jeffrey Epstein associate Steve Bannon try to help Robert Mueller send me to prison by perjuring himself at my trial?" Stone asked on X.
"Bannon is in the Epstein files," Musk replied, while offering no evidence to back up the accusation.
The world's richest man also responded to other posts about Epstein.
"The Epstein List will never be released," one X user noted. "We've been had."
"Yes," Musk agreed.
"They arrested (and killed) Peanut, but have not even tried to file charges against anyone on the Epstein client list," he wrote in a subsequent post linking to a story about a pet squirrel.
"Government is deeply broken."
Last month, Musk declared that Trump was also in the Epstein files before later deleting the post.
